Day 12

It has been 12 days of roof work and we were able to completely cement the entire patio portion. We had to put in a thin layer of dry,  crumbly cement through 2 layers of 22 gauge wire mesh first to make sure the tarp can hold the cement. Once the first layer hardened we were more confident that the concrete will hold up. Next we layed the 9mm rebar, 24 in all , and three layers of wire mesh  followed by a thick layer of concrete to make the thickness of 1 3/4 inches. Everyday we spray it with water to let it cure slowly. This is to make sure it cures properly.
